Chronos LC on Thursday announced the release of SOHO Notes 7.0, a major new version of its note manager for Mac OS X, and SOHO Organizer 7.0, a major new release of its information manager for Mac OS X.
SOHO Notes helps you capture, organize and share personal and workgroup info. It can store rich text, PDFs, images, files, movies, audio, bookmarks and Web archives. It’s capable of working in single user and multiuser environments.
SOHO Organizer is designed as an alternative to iCal and Address Book. It helps you manage calendars, contacts and notes, synchronizes data to cell phones, iPods, Palm devices and other computers, and also works in single user and multiuser environments.
Major new features of SOHO Notes 7.0 include the ability to attach an unlimited number of tasks to notes; the ability to embed actual tasks in the content of text notes; a new Details sidebar; tab-delimited and CSV data import; a new Comments field; a new Open shortcut and Open tab in DockNote; improved note and contact attachments and improved printing.
SOHO Notes 7 costs $39.99; upgrades and bundle deals are also available. A 30-day trial version is available for download.
Major new features of SOHO Organizer 7.0 include recurring task support; tasks in day, week and month views; an alphabet bar that can be used to filter and find contacts; a date bar; the ability to print any day, week or year calendar; improved user interface; auto-age calculation feature (for calculating birthdays, anniversaries, memberships and more); custom task sorting; activity and contact card report printing; CD and DVD label printing; support for Seiko and Brother label printers and more.
SOHO Organizer 7 costs $99.99. Like SOHO Notes 7, upgrades and bundle deals are available. And a 30-day trial version is available, too.
