Hot on the heels of the release of Toast 9 Titanium, Roxio has already updated the CD and DVD burning software to version 9.0.2. The update is free for registered 9.0.x users.

Toast 9 Titanium is the latest major release of Roxio’s popular CD and DVD burning software for Mac OS X. The software now features the ability to create Blu-ray Disc (and HD DVD) video discs, can stream video to the Internet, sports enhancements to audio recording and more.

The 9.0.2 update resolves encoding issues related to high-definition source content and the creation of Blu-ray video discs, according to Roxio. It also fixes a problem related to the creation of DVDs that would not play back on Sony’s PlayStation 3 console. A number of TiVo-related audio and video sync issues have also been corrected.
