Morph Age 4 adds motion and blending curves editing

Creaceed has announced the release of Morph Age 4.0, a major new release of its software for morphing and warping images and movies on Mac OS X. It’s available in regular and pro versions for $59.95 and $149.95 respectively.

Morph Age lets you morph or warp two images or movies together, saving the result to a QuickTime movie. You define curves on one or more image, and any changes made on the curves is reflected on the resulting image through distortion and warping effects.

The new release of Morph Age now incorporates motion and blending curves editing, a “Smart Fit” feature which enables you to derive the position of all curves from moving a subset, motion tracking to track curves in movies, face detection to automatically insert a set of curves in an image and more.

Morph Age makes use of graphics processing units (GPUs) in a Mac to obtain maximum performance. Creaceed has developed Regular and Pro versions. The regular release supports only still image morphing; the Pro release supports movie inputs and frame-accurate key framing.

The 4.0 release requires Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard” and 64MB VRAM.

Morph Age 4.0 is a free upgrade for 3.x users; an upgrade from 3.x to the Pro version is $39.95.
