Elgato Systems has updated the software for its turbo.264 video encoder USB stick. The  1.3 update now lets users convert and upload video to YouTube automatically. With support for chapter markers, navigating encoded movies is now easier for owners of an iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV as well. The new version also preserves Dolby Digital audio and now supports QuickTime Broadcaster.

The 1.3 update is free to turbo.264 owners, and the turbo.264 hardware is available $99.95 at the Elgato Online Store and the Apple Store. The box includes a USB 2.0 hardware encoder and the Elgato turbo.264 software.
