Dare to be Creative has announced the release of Dragoman 1.0, a batch file conversion utility for Mac OS X. It costs $39, and runs as a 10-day trial version when you download it.

Dragoman is a "universal" batch file conversion tool that can convert images, photos, music files and archive files using a drag-and-drop interface. It supports PDF files, JPEG, TIFF and PNG, Microsoft WAV, SND, AU files. It also supports RAR, 7ZIP, StuffIt DMG and ZIP conversion.

A progress bar shows you the status of your file conversions, and the software will automatically update itself (with your permission). The developer plans to add extensions to Dragoman to support video, HTML and source code file conversions as well.

System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
