Drum loops experts Beta Monkey Music released its Drum Werks XI loop collection in REX2 format.

Drum Werks XI includes tempos from 100 bpm to 200 bpm. The company describes the new release as “Big, fat and meaty grooves with a ton of tasty and wicked fills.”

According to Beta Monkey, All grooves, groove variations, fills, and one shot loops are taken from a single recording session and are sonically-matched. The package includes 571 24/44 drum loops and 88 multi-velocity drum and cymbal samples.

REX is a format developed by music company, Propellerhead. The original REX format was for mono files, while REX2 handles mono and stereo files.

REX files are supported by most popular digital audio workstations, including Reason, Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, Pro Tools and Digital Performer.

Drum Werks XI costs $29.99 and is available in REX2, AIF and WAV formats.
