The Infinite Kind has announced the release of Moneydance 2008r2, an update to their personal finance management software for Mac OS X. It costs $39.99, and the update is free for registered users.

Moneydance features online banking support and online bill payment, investment management, budget tracking, transaction scheduling, check printing, graphics, reports and other capabilities.

The new release includes a large number of bug fixes and improvements. Key changes include a new option to store online passwords in the data file when encryption is enabled; a new preference to determine the date window for potential matches to downloaded transactions; a new popup display of splits and other information for the transaction under the mouse cursor when holding down the alt key; improvements to graphs; the ability to filter capital gains report by data; and much more.

MoneyDance 2008r2 requires 4.8MB hard disk space and 128MB RAM or more.
