Freeverse released an update for Sound Studio, the company’s audio recording and editing tool, bringing the current version to 3.5.7.

A couple of items were fixed in the latest release including a bug that prevented Automator actions and Monbots from opening files. Bookend Audio’s monbot was also updated to correct an Apple Script error in OS X 10.5.

Sound Studio is useful for recording podcasts, transferring audio from analog sources such as records and tapes, and more. It provides tools to create mixes, tweak levels and equalization thresholds, apply digital effects and more.

The update is available from the Freeverse Web site. For new users the application costs $79.99.
