DataMind has updated Jade, its digital image processing plug-in for Apple’s photography workflow application, Aperture.

The algorithms in the Jade plug-in are the same as the company’s Jade application. Using Jade, photographers can enhance the color, contrast, and dynamic range of images in Aperture.

The Jade plug-in features one-button automatic image enhancement; the ability to fine-tune Intensity Values, Contrast and Color Correction for unbalanced images’ and batch processing of large volumes of images.

Jade plug-in requires Mac OS X Leopard and Aperture 2.1 or later. Jade Standard costs $19.99 and Jade Pro plug-in costs $49.99.
