Fishbeam Software has announced the release of Goldfish 2.3, an update to its Web site creation software for Mac OS X and Windows. A free update for Goldfish 2 users, Goldfish costs $39.90.

Goldfish helps you build a Web site using pre-designed templates, without having to worry about HTML code. The software features a drag-and-drop visual interface that lets you place graphics, text fields, picture frames, navigational menus, forms and other elements. You can customize the style and content of all the items. It’s suitable for creating blogs, image galleries and more.

New to the 2.3 update is better support for Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard.” FTP publishing has been improved, and improvements have been made to the user interface. New online help is available, and a new crash reporter has been added. Other small bugs have also been fixed.

Goldfish 2.3 requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later.
