Ekim Software has released BuildMate 1.0, a new tool for REALbasic developers. It’s free to download and use.

Described as a built process automation tool, BuildMate lets developers set properties and constants in a project using dynamic and static values in the build configuration file. You can them move the resulting built applications to a builds directory. Practical applications for BuildMate include running a schedule to perform nightly builds using a single command.

Features of BuildMate include the ability to build multiple projects using a single configuration file, integration with Subversion, the ability to copy resource files into your built application package, replacing the info.plist file with your own in a Mac build, cross-platform configuration files and more.
