Egnyte has announced an iPhone interface with its Egnyte 2.0 offering. Egnyte is an on-demand file server system. Egnyte’s fee scales depending on how many users and what sort of access you need; pricing begins at $15 per month.

Egnyte enables Mac and PC small business users to have online file storage, file sharing capabilities and continuous backup. The new release of Egnyte, 2.0, which requires no additional software to be installed on the iPhone, features a mobile drive — “m Drive” — that lets mobile users access all of their data stored via Egnyte via the iPhone.

In addition to file sharing and continuous online backup, Egnyte features document collaboration capabilities. You can share folders, send e-mail invitations with access information, share files, send files from Egnyte as e-mail attachments, and perform version control, storing multiple versions of a single file.

For existing Egnyte users, the new release features an improved user interface, enhanced backup capabilities and faster performance.
