Apple has released Aperture 2.1.2, an update to its pro photo software. Aperture 2.1.2 can be downloaded using the Software Update system preference or through Apple’s Support Web site.

Aperture helps pros and hobbyists with large volumes of digital photos to better manage their libraries. The software also has editing capabilities and features support for plug-ins, and using third-party plug-in software expands its editing abilities dramatically.

The new 2.1.2 update improves the printing quality of books, cards and calendars ordered through the Aperture printing service, according to Apple. Apple recommends that all customers using Aperture 2 upgrade to this new release.
