Native Instruments released a soundpack for its Kore audio platform. Dubbed True Strike Tension, the soundpack focuses on percussion sounds.

True Strike Tension uses percussion instruments from Africa, Japan and the Middle East, including the Kenkeni, Darabuka, Bendir, Okedo-Daiko and others. The company said that all the sounds in the soundpack are designed to add suspense, tension and emphasis to any kind of dramatic music or film scoring.

Because the soundpack has been made for Kore, you can use of its morphing and shaping tools to adjust the sounds.

True Strike Tension is available from the company’s Web site for $79.
