SmileOnMyMac has released DiscLabel 5.4, an update to its CD and DVD label design software for Mac OS X. A free update for DiscLabel 5 users, DiscLabel 5.4 costst $35.95.

DiscLabel lets you create professional-looking covers for CDs and DVDs using built-in templates and design and typography tools. It lets you create CD labels, jewel case inserts and DVD covers.

The new version adds 15 new free templates in holiday, gift and business themes. Also added in this release is the ability to do multiple selections in the design list, and the ability to sort the design list folders alphabetically.

Provisional “beta” support has been added for zoom, swipe and rotate gestures on compatible hardware like the new MacBook and MacBook Pro.

DiscLabel 5.4 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
