Chronos LC on Monday announced the release of iScrapbook 2.0, a major upgrade to its scrapbooking software for Mac OS X. It is priced at $49.99; a 30-day trial version is available for download.

iScrapbook features design tools to help you design and print scrapbooks. You can use it for page design and album organization. The software includes specialty photo corners, background papers, photo frames, templates and more than 100 "Super Masks" for designer effects.

New features include an "iScrapKit Browser" to manage and search for artwork; two-page spreads; two-page column option; six new shapes; multiple object resizing; animated full-screen slideshow; trim-to-page features; export to TIFF, JPEG, PNG and PDF; speed improvements when loading pages, printing and exporting, and more.

System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.5 or later, 75MB disk space, DVD-ROM drive for installation.
