IK Multimedia updated its mastering and mixing software, T-RackS. The company also released a new set of instructional videos to help users educate themselves on using the software.

T-RackS 3.0.1 offers several enhancements over the previous version including full support of multi-core machines under Mac OS X; CPU overhead has been reduced; Bugs have been fixed in the Spectrum Analyzer’s averaging mode; and Owners of IK’s ARC System will now be able to open ARC System in T-RackS 3 Standalone mode for room correction while mastering.

T-RackS 3 includes nine processors, including new models based on the Fairchild 670 and the Pultec EQP-1A. The package also has two new digital processors as well as the 4 classic T-RackS processors.
