IK Multimedia on Thursday announced the upcoming release of AmpliTube Fender, the newest member of the AmpliTube guitar amp and effects modeling software.

Partnering with Fender, IK will release a collection of 45 pieces of gear in the new software package. Included in AmpliTube Fender will be Fender’s Twin Reverb, ’59 Bassman LTD, Super-Sonic, Metalhead, and the ‘65 Deluxe Reverb, among others.

The collection will also feature 12 original matching cabinets, nine mics and six signature classic stomp effects and six rack effects. Of course, like all AmpliTube products, you can mix and match amps, cabinets and effects.

AmpliTube Fender will also work with AmpliTube X-Gear which allows you to mix and match any of the AmpliTube products together.

AmpliTube Fender will cost $229.99 and AmpliTube Fender Studio will cost $139.99. Both products will be available in February 2009.
