National Electronic Attachment (NEA) and MacPractice have announced a partnership that will enable users of the MacPractice medical practice management software the ability to submit attachments electronically.

MacPractice plans to add the ability to interface with NEA’s FastAttach system. This will enable dental offices to transmit x-rays, perio charts, lab reports, intra-oral pictures and other content via the Internet, said the company in a statement.

The goal is to speed claim processing with insurers, who require the ability to view such content to process electronic claims. It eliminates the need to duplicate or mail attachments separately.
