Telestream on Wednesday updated its screen recording application, ScreenFlow. The update adds a few new features and fixes some critical bugs.

New in ScreenFlow 1.5 is the ability to add text objects to the timeline, allowing users to add titles to videos. The new version also adds more than 10 audio effects that can be applied to the narration.

If you are a users of Flip4Mac WMV, you can now export ScreenFlow movies in the Windows Media Video format. Users of professional mics that record to a single channel will now have their audio mixed into stereo automatically.

Several important bug fixes have been addressed in ScreenFlow 1.5 too. After upgrading to QuickTime 7.6, some users reported a crash when importing QuickTime content, which has been fixed. Another application crash when exporting content for the Apple TV, iPod, or iPhone was also fixed.

ScreenFlow 1.5 can be downloaded from the company’s Web site. For new users the application costs $99.
