Eternal Storms Software has released Flickery, a new Mac OS X application for Flickr, the popular photo blogging service. It costs €9.90 (US$12.82).

Flickery enables you to upload photos to your Flickr photo stream. You can even use it to take pictures and upload directly using your Mac’s iSight camera or using desktop images.

Features include the ability to organize photos in photosets and groups, browse Favorites and add to them, check out photos using the “Explore” feature and look at contacts’ photos, photosets and favorites. It also lets you search Flickr for particular images or types of images you might be interested in. And, with the owner’s permission, you can download other users’ photos as well.

In addition to Flickr uploading and navigation tools, Flickery features basic photo editing capabilities. You can use it to resize, crop, rotate and run filters on your pictures.

System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.5 or later, an Internet connection and a Flickr account (recommended but not necessary).

A 15-day trial version is available for download.
