The Montreal International Game Summit 2009 (MIGS) has revealed its dates, location, and issued a call for speakers.

The event will take place on November 18 - 19, 2009 at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel Montreal. Speakers who wish to present at the event have until April 24, 2009 to apply. The event’s advisory board is looking for proposals from top-level game industry pros including experts in film, IT, mobile technology and more.

Each conference and panel lasts about one hour, and include a question period. The event’s coordinators plan six conference tracks for this year’s summit: art, business, design, production, serious games and technology.

MIGS dates back to 2004, when it was created to serve members of the video game industry, especially those employed in Quebec — MIGS currently counts more than 6,200 people in the video game business in the province of Quebec alone.
