SmileOnMyMac has announced the release of PageSender 4.5, an update to their faxing software for Mac OS X. It costs $40; upgrades for registered 4.x users are free.

PageSender helps users fax documents to one or many ciients; it's AppleScriptable, so it can be connected to other applications or as part of a larger workflow. It supports live addressing using Address Book, Entourage and other applications, lets you filter out spam faxes, design custom fax cover pages, and more.

New to the 4.5 release is support for SmartFax.com, a fax-via-email service. Sparkle software updating is also supported.

PageSender requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
