IGG Software has announced the release of iBiz 4, a new version of its time-tracking and billing software for Mac OS X. It costs $40. The company has also introduced iBiz Professional, which permits networking for businesses with multiple employees. That’s priced starting at $100.
iBiz is a time-tracking application that also enables users to bill back time spent on projects. It supports multiple task types, includes timers, estimates, billing accounts, integration with Address Book and more.
New to iBiz 4 are reminders, client groups, user interface enhancements, expense tracking, customizable invoice generation, statements, synchronization with iCal, animated graphs, a document monitor menu, a new pop-up inspector that lets you edit and enter data faster, backup and restore capabilities and more.
iBiz Professional is the multi-user networked implementation of iBiz 4. A system comprising the iBiz 4 application with iBiz Server, iBiz Professional lets teams of employees share the same set of data, checkout projects, work offline, then synchronize changes the next time you connect; set default rates for specific employees, clients and projects, manage projects remotely, share ob events and to-dos, and manage access to billing functions, project earnings, job event rates and other data.
iBiz is also designed to integrate with iBank 3, the latest version of IGG Software’s personal finance management app.
The $100 fee provides you with iBiz Server 4 and two iBiz 4 client licenses.
Both iBiz 4 and iBiz Professional require Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
