Primera Technology on Tuesday introduced its PTBurn Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) for the Mac. It can be used in conjunction with Primera’s Bravo-series Disc Publishers, devices that burn and print CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.

Bravo SE
The SDK is intended for software developers who want to integrate Bravo device support into their applications. With the SDK in hand, developers can automate workflows based around the Bravo disk printers.

Support includes the ability to burn and print natively on Mac OS X 10.5 or later. A bundled print layout application helps merge text and other data. A native Mac framework can be linked to in to new applications or existing apps, and Primera has provided source code to produce a fully functional application based on Cocoa, Apple’s Mac application development framework.

The SDK is available for download for free from Primera’s Developer Support Web site. Registration is required.
