There are many cases for the iPod mini, but the WaterField Design Mini Gear Pouch is designed to carry your mini and all its accessories in one bag. The Pouch, which measures 7.75" x 3.75" x 1", is constructed of thick, ballistic nylon with neoprene padding. Interior padded pockets hold your iPod mini (with or without its belt clip, or even in a case) and AC adapter, while mesh pockets accommodate your earbuds and cables.

Like other Waterfield products I've seen, the Mini Gear Pouch exhibits impressive fit and finish and should stand up to abuse. The self-locking zipper keeps your stuff inside, and handy loops make it easy to grab the Pouch out of your bag or attach it securely. My only criticism of the Mini Gear Pouch is that I wish the mesh earbud/cable pockets were padded, as well -- many of us have replaced Apple's stock earbuds with models that are significantly more expensive, and some extra protection would be welcome.

The Mini Gear Pouch is available in black with blue, celeste (light green), lead (gray), red, or taxi (golden yellow) trim.

UPDATE (9/16/05): WaterField has rebranded the Mini iPod Gear Pouch as a pouch for the iPod mini and iPod nano, as the Pouch fits the nano and its accessories just as well as it fits the mini. Our rating for use with the iPod nano is identical to our rating as an iPod mini accessory.--Dan Frakes
