Lime's Regular Peel for your iPod video is a cloth case backed by harder cardboard material. It's a very simple design, constructed of a single wraparound piece with elastic strips that hold the iPod tight and a thin vinyl strip on the back that acts as a belt loop. The peel comes in thirteen different styles.

Unfortunately, there's no access to your iPod's Dock Connector, screen, or controls while your iPod is in the case; only the headphone port and hold switch are accessible. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing; some people want a simple "pouch" case that protects an iPod inside a bag, purse, or pocket. But the Peel's doesn't completely enclose your iPod, leaving its edges vulnerable.

With no access to your iPod's controls and screen, but also providing minimal protection, I see little that makes the Peel stand out unless you're taken with one of the styles (some of which, such as the Cassette, are admittedly unique).--Derik DeLong
