Incase's Special Edition Folio is a leather case for your fifth-generation (5G) iPod. The "Special Edition" aspect of the case is the high-quality Nappa leather that surrounds the exterior of the case and the suede that lines the interior. The leather feels nice in the hand and the white and orange color combination is stylish. In typical folio style, the case has a flap secured by velcro that wraps around itself to protect the iPod (whose entire face is already protected). A clear-plastic shield protects the iPod's screen while the Click Wheel is protected by a translucent piece of plastic with a raised opaque center.

The flipcover includes a slot for cards; on the back is a horizontal belt clip. The iPod's headphone jack, hold switch, and dock-connector port are all accessible. The material around the headphone port is thin, allowing for use of most headphones. The one flaw of this particular folio implementation is your iPod's tendency to slide to the left a bit out of place when the case is opened.

Other than this sliding tendency, however, the Folio is a well-designed case that looks good, feels great in the hand, and offers decent protection.--Derik DeLong
