Sennheiser has released the EZX 60, a sleek, low-profile, lightweight Bluetooth headset that features digital noise and echo cancellation.
Despite its small size, Sennheiser claims that the EZX 60 still retains the sharp, high-fidelity sound Sennheiser is known for, and since it uses current Bluetooth 2.1 wireless technology, outside interference is less likely than ever to affect your wireless sound quality.
One of the EZX 60’s selling points is its digital noise and echo cancellation technology. Background noise and echoing sounds are common complaints for Bluetooth earpiece users—a result of the microphone’s high sensitivity and close proximity to its speaker—but Sennheiser says its digital noise cancellation helps keep ambient noise low, while the echo cancellation ensures that everything you say is only heard once.
The EZX 60 also features one-hand operation, a soft ear hook that flips and rotates so it can be used on either ear, and weighs in at a mere 0.4 ounces. The company says the EZX 60 can deliver up to 7.5 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.
The EZX 60 is compatible with all Bluetooth 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, and 2.1 devices and is available now for $80.
