Moshi, a Sunnyvale, Calif., company known for its fashionable, high-end Apple accessories, has released its first headset in its new Moshi Audio line.

The Moshi Vortex is an $80 in-ear headset that uses audiophile grade Neodymium drivers. The driver housing is made of Moshi’s proprietary steel alloy, which is designed to provide deep, tight bass without distortion.

The Vortex boasts custom-made silicone earbuds designed with a hard center piece and soft outer dome for comfort and proper sound delivery. Since a tight seal between the earbud and your ear canal is essential for achieving proper bass response, the Vortex comes with 3 different sized ear buds and uses a lighter cable that is less likely to pull the ear tips out of your ears. The earbuds are also color-coded, so you can easily distinguish between the left and right buds.

The headset also includes an iPhone-compatible microphone and a button for stopping, starting, and skipping songs.
