A cross-platform workflow management system has been updated with enhanced project collaboration capabilities, and is now available for free download.
Gridiron Flow 2.0 Essentials, an offering from Gridiron Software, emerged from beta testing this week. It’s an update of the highly praised program that allows creative professionals to stay on top of their projects by creating visual workflow maps that track related files—including those on a user’s hard drive. (See the video embedded below for a demonstration.) This week’s update puts a new emphasis on collaboration, giving users 4GB of free online storage space so that remote freelancers and their project managers can share the ability to track status and make changes to files within a project. The program also generates automatic deadline notifications for tasks and projects.
The update also comes with access to a suite of premium services to expand Gridiron Flow’s capabilities. Version tracking, time management software, and an expansion of online file storage to 50GB are available for a monthly subscription of $10 each, or in a bundle of all three services for $20 a month.
Gridiron Flow 2.0 Essentials is available for Windows and Mac. The Mac version is compatible with computers running OS X 10.5 or later.
