Show Notes

The $199 Awind McTiVia wirelessly mirrors content from your Mac to your HDTV, essentially turning it into a second monitor. You can watch videos, listen to music, surf the Web, play games, and more, all with full audio support. The small set-top box connects to your television using an HDMI cable, and streams your computer's audio and video using MirrorOp's remote desktop operations software over a wireless network. You can then control your Mac using its built-in keyboard, external peripherals connected to the McTiVia's USB port, or Awind's MirrorOp Receiver app for the iPad.

We’ve got more information about the product in our round-up of Best of Show winners from Macworld 2011.
