Blah blah, new MacBook Pros. Blah blah, Lion developer preview. Whatever. Did everyone forget? It’s Steve Jobs’s birthday! I hope you got him something nice. Elsewhere: bet you don’t know who the longest serving Apple employee is. And Mongolia’s got itself a taste for everybody’s favorite computer company. The real news is in the remainders for Thursday, February 24, 2011.

He may act all curmudgeonly with his terse e-mails and famously sharp temper, but we all know Steve is really a big softie. Apple’s longest serving employee: It’s not Steve Jobs (Electricpig)

Speaking of Steve, you may think he’s the longest-serving Apple employee. But don’t forget he had that whole, *ahem*, dark period in the late ’80s, early ’90s. In fact, if his service record were a person, it could run for president.

Mongolia takes a bite out of Apple (M.A.D.)

While we extend our congratulations to the lucky citizens who will no longer be left out in the cold for new Apple products—well, at least metaphorically—it must be noted that the shop is on the ground floor of the Golomt Towers, with an entrance next to the Torgo Fashion Shop. Gah! Who would take fashion advice from that guy?
