MacEase has announced the release of EasyPrint 1.0, a new self-configuring, universal desktop printer for Mac OS X. It costs $24.95. A demo version is available for download.
With EasyPrint, users simply drag and drop what they need printed, either text or image. It works with any selection of any size. EasyPrint can add time-date stamps and notes to anything you print — it can also stamp URL on Safari pages.
EasyPrint lets you specific the font and point size without affecting the source document; it also lets you temporarily override many of the preference settings in your application using a hotkey. And EasyPrint can be hidden using a customizable keyboard shortcut.
EasyPrint lets you print material from programs that can’t print, assuming they support drag and drop. It also helps to eliminate cut-off text, blank pages and other phenomena you see in Web browsers.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later. EasyPrint is a Universal binary.
