Apple on Wednesday released an update for iMovie, bringing the current version to 7.0.1. According to notes provided with the update, the new version addresses issues associated with publishing to .Mac Web Gallery. It also improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues.
iMovie 7.0 was released as part of the iLife ’08 suite of applications earlier this month. iMovie 7.0 adds support for the AVCHD format for High-Definition video and also adopts the “skimming” feature found in iPhoto-users can skim through videos without having to play clips to see what they contain.
Apple said iMovie 7.0 was a complete rewrite of the application, providing users with an easy way to create movies.
iMovie 7.0.1 is available for download from Apple’s Web site.
