Adobe has released a trio of updates for creative users, including for Premiere Pro (Mac), DNG Converter and a new version of its Camera RAW plug-in.
DNG Converter 4.3.1 is a free utility from Adobe that converts camera-specific RAW image files from over 150 camera models to the DNG format, which Adobe developed to act as an industry standard for digital negatives in the RAW image format.
The latest Camera Raw plug-in for Photoshop (also version 4.3.1) adds support for new cameras, including the following: Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III; Canon PowerShot G9; Nikon D3; Nikon D300; Olympus E-3; Olympus SP-560 UZ; and the Panasonic DMC-L10.
Adobe also updated its Mac video application Premiere Pro. The update makes the application compatible with Mac OS X Leopard and addresses several important bugs (implications of which were not disclosed by the company). Adobe recommends the update for all Premiere Pro CS3 users.
