When OS X officially launches on March 24, rest assured that Macworld will be there to cover it. We will be updating Macworld.com all weekend long and covering OS X launches across the country in California, Tennessee, and Arizona. As part of that coverage, Macworld will be at Elite Computers in Cupertino tonight for its midnight OS X sale. The sale, billed as “California’s Largest OS X Launch Party,” will feature free goodies from various developers, ten 24-inch search lights scanning the sky, and free commemorative OS X T-shirts.
Besides covering this event editorially, Macworld will have a table in the store where we will be giving away free copies of Macworld and promotional items, as well as selling discount subscriptions to the magazine. There will also be a drawing for a free one-year subscriptions.
