Finder windows now have a tool bar built in. In default mode, the tool bar enables you to zoom quickly to specific locations on your hard-disk drives and select which window view you want displayed.
Tool bars can be customized to do other things as well, such as ejecting CDs or deleting files and folders. Select Customize Tool bar from the Finder’s View menu. Your Finder window contents will be replaced with a panel of icons that represent tool bar options. Drag the icons you want to the tool bar to modify the tool bar’s functionality. You can also drag hard-disk and folder icons to the tool bar. If you don’t want to see the tool bar at all, click on the button in the window’s upper-right corner.
