Chaotic Software has announced updates to three of its Macintosh utilities: MP3 Rage, QuickMovie and Web Devil. The new versions are ready for download from Chaotic Software’s Web site.
Web Devil is a tool for downloading Web sites for offline browsing, image extraction, and other tooling. It incorporates filtering capabilities and other features too. The new 5.4 release adds an incremental downloader, support for URLs longer than 255 characters and adjusts the user interface. It runs on Mac OS 9 and X.
QuickMovie creates QuickTime movies out of a series of images. You can create fixed size movies or adjust the size of the movie to fit the largest image in the series. It also incorporates scaling features, customizable compression, and frame rate adjustment. QuickMovie 1.5 adds support for alphabetical sorting. It runs in Mac OS 9 and X.
MP3 Rage is a collection of MP3-related tools. It works in conjunction with Napster and Gnutella file sharing systems, and enables you to edit ID3 tags, analyze MP3s and adjust sound volume leveling, export MP3 to AIFF format, play MP3 files, and more. MP3 Rage 4.1 adds many new features and fixes a few problems.
