P & L Software Ltd has announced the release of a new version of Mesa, its Mac OS X-native spreadsheet application. The company also has announced a special deal to celebrate Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco, which happens next week.
The new version of Mesa, 3.0.7, features the ability to access as many worksheets in a workbook as you want to create. Compatibility with Excel date fields has been improved, as well.
During all of next week, users interested in purchasing Mesa can do so for US$50, a $49 savings off the regular price.
P & L Software sales manager Lee Cox said that his company is committed to adding new features to Mesa and making them available to new and existing users. “Mesa gives Mac users a choice — they don’t have to go with Excel any more,” said Cox.
A free evaluation version is available for download — it restricts your workbook size, but will give you a fair idea of how the software works. Check out P & L’s Web site for more details.
