If you’re planning on attending the New York DV Show, touted as the largest digital video show ever presented in the Big Apple, you have only a few days left to take advantage of the early bird registration prices.
The New York DVD Show will be held Feb. 10-14 with the exhibition floor open Feb. 12 and 13. All this will take place at the Manhattan Center/New Yorker Hotel.
Those into Macs and high-end videography may especially be interested in the show. Five conferences will be offered, one of which is the Apple Final Cut Pro Users Conference, which will have 40 sessions. The other conferences are: Adobe After Effects Users Conference, Avid Xpress DV Users Conference, Digital Video Conference, and the Security and Surveillance Summit.
The New York DV Show will be home to 170 educational sessions. Hardware and software classroom will be set up for hands-on learning. Over 2,500 folks are expected to attend.
Register by Jan. 11 and you can save US$500. “Early bird” rates range from $895 (for a five-day VIP pass) to $295 for a one-day conference pass as compared to the range of $1,395 to $495 for non-early bird prices.
You can also get a free expo pass for the exhibits by registering online. It will cost you 25 bucks at the door.
