XtremeMac is a new Apple-focused accessory manufacturer, and the company plans to use next week’s Macworld Conference & Expo as a springboard for its new line of products. To start, the company is introducing a line of accessories aimed at iPod users.
XtremeMac has produced the 7-piece iPod Essentials Bundle, which it plans to sell at the show. Included in the bundle is an iPod case, available in 14 different colors. The case is available in Leather, Suede or Denim.
Also included in the bundle is a custom-engineered all-white Premium iPod FireWire Car Charger, belt clip, neck lanyard, and dash mounting accessories.
XtremeMac president and CEO Gary Bart said that with the introduction of the iPod, Apple has created a new category of digital music player. “XtremeMac has created a new kind of case. Our unique and functional design extends the usefulness of Apple’s great product by allowing iPod users to take their music with them everywhere in style and safety,” said Bart.
In a recent statement, XtremeMac vice president and CTO Tim Cave intimated that this is only the beginning. “We are hard at work designing some truly innovative products that will enhance the Apple user experience,” said Cave.
If you’re interested in taking a look at what XtremeMac has to offer, a “preview” of the company’s Web site is now online — the fully functional version is expected to launch with Macworld Expo San Francisco next week.
If you’re going to be at Macworld Conference & Expo, look for XtremeMac in booth 2429. They’ll be holding hourly drawings to win iPod accessories and offering special deals to showgoers.
