The procreate branch of Corel and The Art Institutes is sponsoring a Digital Art Class at this week’s Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco. Complete with live and virtual models, professional instructors and digital artists, the class is designed to bring together the latest creative technologies and provide attendees with a hands-on, digital life drawing class right on the trade show floor.
If you’re at the show and cruise on by, you’ll see a true life drawing class using Painter 7, Wacom Intuos art tablets, and a Hewlett Packard Designjet 5000 series printer, running under Mac O S 10.1. In fact, the Art Institutes — a system of 23 education institutions across the US — has incorporated Painter 7 into its curriculum at a number of its schools. For instance, the Art Institutes International at San Francisco has included Painter 7 in a variety of design classes, including Image Manipulation, Portfolio Presentation and Fashion Design.
procreate is a new line of software applications designed and delivered by Corel for creative professionals. procreate products include Painter, Corel Graphics Suite, Bryce, and more.
