procreate has announced the release of an update to its Painter 7 application that adds new features, including support for graphical tablets, on Mac OS X.
New features include new tinting brushes and water color tutorials. Additionally, this new update provides support for Wacom-brand pen tablets under Mac OS X.
The new tinting brushes add capabilities to Painter 7’s ability to utilize transparent brush strokes over existing grayscale artwork to add color. The water color tutorial is the first of a series of 12 written by Cher Threinen-Pendarvis, who wrote the Painter Wow! books.
