Jamfo has introduced a new Web authoring application called WorldBuilder Online Studio. The software has a long list of features that its developer said haven’t been seen before in any online or desktop Web authoring application. Features include:
The software will move into a public beta testing phase on January 21st. Jampfo explained that the testers who try out the software will have full access to WorldBuilder’s feature sets. And once testing is complete, you’ll be able to carry your work forward, get an extended free period of usage and upgrade to a commercial account (those accounts are expected in March).
After the beta testing process is complete, WorldBuilder will be available as a monthly subscription server. If you have a WorldBuilder account, you’ll be able to sign up for package deals which provide you with multiple sub-accounts to create your own online workgroups, along with common disk storage and monthly bandwidth. The company says it expects subscription fees to start at about US$30 per month for 100 MB of strage, 5GB of bandwidth and 50 members.
