If you would like to apply some hot rod treatment to your blue and white Power Mac G3 or your Power Mac G4 tower, you might want to take a look at what AppleSkinz has to offer. An exhibitor at this year’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, Calif., the company is showing off its latest designs.
AppleSkinz are special form-fitting polycarbonate covers that attach to the side of the Power Mac G3 or G4’s case. They’re easy to attach: AppleSkinz affix to the sides of the Power Mac using double sticky-back tape for easy application and removal without having to worry about marking up or disassembling the case. The company said that the skins take about a minute to install.
Designs range across the board from hot-rod style flames to woodgrain, tattoo art to the very popular American flag motif (pictured here). In fact, they have more than 20 designs, with more planned for after the show. If you have a specific design in mind, AppleSkinz’s Doug Griffith said that they’ll be happy to work with you: The company can print AppleSkinz with up to a five-color process to produce some really vibrant, detailed work.
If you’re at the show this week, check them out in booth 1051.
