Cross Culture Limited has a new tool for generating Web pages and reformatting data exported from databases: Mergemill 1.0.
The US$95 app is “unique among similar products in its use of the IF and LOOP control tags, which bring power and flexibility to its more advanced users who create their own format files or templates,” according to Vitus Chak, Cross Culture’s managing director. The three Web tools built into Mergemill are Convert to GIF, Color Visualizer and Web Symbols and are each useful on their own. The Color Visualizer particularly provides a unique and useful means of experimenting with color sets on a Web page, Chak said.
Mergemill requires a Power Mac running Mac OS 8.6 or above with 64MB RAM and at least a 800×600 display resolution. It’s not yet been Carbonized for Mac OS X.
