Totally Hip Software announced today they would host a contest at Apple’s upcoming QuickTime Live conference being held in Los Angeles, February 11-14, 2002.
Dubbed the Big Q-Huna contest, Totally Hip says it’s for all LiveStage Professional developers: novice and experts alike. The contest is free and open to all attendees, including those that sign-up for the free exhibits.
Totally Hip will provide a conference room, wireless Internet connectivity, and a staff of interactive QuickTime experts every evening starting at 6:00 pm. Categories for the contest include Best Use of Media Skin; Best Use of QTVR; Best Use of Conference Media; Best Use of Inter-movie Communication; Best Use of the Toucan; Best Overall. Winners will be announced at the end of the week.
Prizes include an iPod, Kodak Cameras, software and the all-important “Big Q-Huna Robe” (consider it the yellow jersey of QuickTime).
