Adobe Photoshop is one of the last remaining holdout applications preventing some people from moving to Mac OS X. Adobe showed Photoshop running on Mac OS X during Steve Jobs keynote presentation at Macworld Expo earlier this month.

Although no official date has been set for Photoshop’s release, Adobe Senior Vice President, Bryan Lamkin told Macworld UK that the company is “working on a new version of Photoshop, with support for OS 9 and OS X, which will be available in the first half of this year.”
Adobe currently has several products available for Mac OS X, including Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat Reader, GoLive and LiveMotion — the latter two were announced during Macworld Expo.
Lamkin went on to say, “the Macintosh and OS X will continue to be a mission critical platform for our Network Publishing customers.”
