Digital imaging company ACD Systems has entered into an agreement with Ofoto, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, that will let ACDSee users access to Ofoto’s online photo printing services from within ACDSee.
ACDSee is a fast image browser and viewer that enables users to organize files in more than 40 different formats. In addition to various image formats, ACDSee also supports movie and sound clips, including QuickTime, MPEG and MP3 format files. Export to 10 common formats is also supported, as is batch processing and the ability to save files in HTML.
ACD Systems has developed a plug-in for the imaging software that enables users to access Ofoto’s online photo services by clicking on the “Order Prints” button within ACDSee. Through Ofoto’s online photo service ACDSee users will be provided with a way to order prints ranging from wallet size to poster size, photo cards, frames and albums for delivery to their doorstep.
